From 1st January 2024 our hiring charges are as follows:

1.VILLAGE PUBLIC EVENTS- open to all through either membership to a village club or society: £29.50 per four hours including setting up and taking down. 

2. NON VILLAGE PUBLIC EVENTS  - events open to all (e.g. coffee mornings, table top sales) but not for village clubs or societies £35 per four hour session including setting up and taking down.

3. PRIVATE EVENTS - invitation only or closed events such as parties, : £35 per four hours including setting up and taking down.

Subsequent hours charged pro rata.

The above prices include use of our well equipped kitchen.

Half a session (2 hours) is the minimum period of hire.

Alcohol Licence: we hold an alcohol licence (Monday to Saturday only). Sale of Alcohol at an event under our licence will be charged at £10 per event.

Alcohol provided for free, e.g at a party, is not subject to Licensing Law.

 

Please note that we do not allow the use of play equipment such as bouncy castles and trampolines inside the Village Hall as they may cause damage to our wooden floor.

Commercial events  - Charges depend on the requirements for use. Please contact the Bookings Coordinator through the 'Contact' tab above for further details.

Tables and chairs can be hired for outside events. Price on application.

 

Stillington Village Hall Management Committee reserves the right to charge an addtional rate for any costs incurred due to extra cleaning or damage to the hall by the hirer during its period of hire, as per item 11 of our Standard Terms and Conditions of Hire. This may be in the form of a one off fee or an increase in the per session fee, whichever the Management Committee deems appropriate.
